Execution Planning and Budgeting
We meet with the management team to identify the execution and budget strategies that support the credit union’s operating context and strengthen the factors that indicate or reflect credit union health.
Execution is the act of getting things done. It is production. A budget illustrates the decisions made with regard to which, and at what level, specific execution strategies are to be funded. Health is the underlying financial strength of an institution relative to commonly accepted financial benchmarks, and to its own set of financial performance expectations.
We help management teams discuss and find consensus on the specific execution strategies that most effectively support the credit union’s long-term expectations and context, and at what level to fund these strategies, while ensuring that the effort strengthens the credit union’s financial health.
As a result of our Execution and Budgeting process…
- The management team will have a clearly defined execution plan and budget that serves to undergird the credit union’s context and health expectations adopted by the board of directors.
- The management team will be able execute strategy with the confidence that the effort will lead to financial stability, growth and overall health, and support strategic expectations over a long period of time.

Notes:
In terms of credit union health, we make heavy use of Glatt Consulting, LLC’s own proprietary HealthScore scoring system, and encourage our Strategic Context Planning clients to establish health expectations in line with HealthScore best practices. You can learn more about our system here.
While our Execution and Budgeting Planning process can be contracted on a stand-alone basis, credit unions find that the process works best if combined with our Context Strategy and HealthScore Status and Benchmark Reporting processes. You can learn more about that process here.
