HealthScore Status and Benchmark Reporting

We send quarterly reports to active clients regarding their HealthScore benchmark performance, and supply regular articles on execution and HealthScore best practices via our GCLLC website feed and/or email updates.

There are eleven specific measurements of credit union performance that we believe are indicative of robust credit union health. We calculate these measurements, score them on a 5-point scale, then roll them up into a comprehensive score we call the Credit Union Industry HealthScore. We do this for the entire credit union community regardless of client status.

For our strategy consulting clients, we help define the expectations for credit union performance for each of these eleven measurements. We then report back to clients their HealthScore performance as compared to their own expectations and as compared to the credit union community at large.

We also regularly research what strategies are working (and not working) at credit unions around the country. We do this by identifying top performers and poor performers using our HealthScore system. We then dig into the root causes of their performance, write about what we find, and deliver the results to our clients.

  • The board of directors will have an engaging report that provides insight into the credit union’s strategic performance and health.

Notes:

While our HealthScore Status and Benchmark Reporting process can be contracted on a stand-alone basis, credit unions find that the process works best if combined with our Context Strategy and Execution Planning and Budgeting Strategy processes.
